Our Commitment

RMD is commited to collaborate on Sustainability, involving all parties which are somehow affected by the company's strategy: employees, suppliers, clients, shareholders, and society in general. This is how in RMD the Sustainability Policy is made; combining Quality, Environment Protection and Social Work, according to the following principles that comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004.

Commitment nº 1 - To Quality

RMD spends a big part of its resources to ensure TOTAL quality in all aspects of the company. This makes us work using a quality system backed up by LLOYD'S certificate, according to regulation UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000.l

Commitment nº 2 - To Safety

All efforts in RMD are oriented towards a culture of prevention of risks associated to our business, with a clear goal of "zero accidents" for both employees and people that have to do with our company: visitors, suppliers, clients and subcontractors.

Commitment nº 3 - To Sustainability and the Environment

RMD believes that environmental issues must be present in all activities and decisions. A reflection of this commitment is the recent acquisition of the certification of our Environmental Management System, granted by LLOY’D according to regulation UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004.

Commitment nº 4 - To Continuous Improvement

Technological innovation makes it possible to maintain excellence both in products offered by RMD, S.A. as in internal processes. RMD's policy is oriented towards creating and sustaining value. Innovation is focused on results, chasing three groups of tangible goals: diversification: by means of development of new products and services; differentiation: by means of improvement and adaptation of existing products and services; and improvement of existing processes.

Commitment nº 5 - To Society

For RMD the positive impact of the company on society has to emerge from its main activity: managing non-hazardous waste. The mission that leads RMD, and where all its commitment is focused, is re-introducing this waste back into the productive system of society.
